Privacy Policy
Last updated: 24 October 2026
This policy explains what Horizon Quill collects when you visit horizonquill.click or buy from it, why we hold it, and what you can make us do about it. The data controller is Ramos Digital Ltd, company number 17403039, 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom.
1. What we collect
- Order details — your name, email address, billing address and country, the titles you bought and what you paid.
- Payment confirmation — the card type and last four digits, the authorisation result and the processor's reference. We never receive or store the full card number, the expiry date or the security code.
- Technical data — IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed and the time of the visit.
- Correspondence — anything you write to us and our replies.
2. Why we hold it
To deliver the file you paid for and reissue it if the link fails; to answer you; to meet accounting and tax obligations; to detect fraudulent payments; and to understand, in aggregate, which pages people read. We do not build profiles for sale, and we do not sell personal data to anyone.
3. Lawful basis
Order and delivery data: performance of our contract with you. Accounting records: legal obligation. Fraud prevention and basic analytics: our legitimate interest in running a store that works and does not get defrauded. Marketing email, if you ever ask for it: your consent, withdrawable at any time.
4. Who processes it for us
Shopify Inc. hosts the store and processes orders. Shopify Payments and the card networks process payment. Cloudflare serves the domain. Each acts under contract and may process data outside the United Kingdom; those transfers rely on the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
5. Cookies
The store sets cookies that are strictly necessary to keep a cart and complete a checkout. Analytics and advertising cookies, where offered, are set only after you accept them in the banner, and you can change your choice at any time from the Your Privacy Choices link in the footer.
6. How long we keep it
Order and payment records: seven years, as UK tax law requires. Correspondence: two years from the last message. Technical logs: twelve months. After that it is deleted or irreversibly aggregated.
7. Your rights
You may ask us for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, ask us to restrict or stop a particular use, object to processing based on legitimate interest, and ask for your data in a portable format. Write to contact@horizonquill.click. We answer within thirty days and we do not charge. We may ask you to confirm the email address on the order before we release anything.
8. Complaints
If we get it wrong, tell us first. If you are still unhappy you may complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, or to the supervisory authority in your own country.
9. Children
This store is not intended for anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect data about children. If you believe we hold a child's data, write to us and we will delete it.
10. Changes
We update this policy when our practices change. The version in force is the one published here, with its date at the top.
